Blaine Bengals Prep Bowl bound
bhsfootballcelebrates_mid.jpgBengal football players had plenty to hoop and holler about Friday night after the team’s defense stopped Cretin-Derham Hall quarterback Mark Alt’s two-point conversion attempt in overtime. Blaine’s exciting 28-27 victory over the undefeated Raiders earned the Bengals a Prep Bowl berth in the Class 5A championship game against Wayzata. No students injured in bus accident
A school bus was involved in a two vehicle accident during rush hour this morning. The bus was westbound on Highway 10 when it was rear-ended by a sport utility vehicle just after 7:30 a.m. at the Fair Oak Avenue intersection, said Capt. Scott Nolan of the Anoka Police Department.
