 Bengal football players had plenty to hoop and holler about
Friday night after the team’s defense stopped Cretin-Derham Hall
quarterback Mark Alt’s two-point conversion attempt in overtime.
Blaine’s exciting 28-27 victory over the undefeated Raiders earned the
Bengals a Prep Bowl berth in the Class 5A championship game against
Wayzata. The contest is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 28 at the Metrodome.

History students at St. Francis High School (SFHS) don’t just sit in
the classroom, taking notes as the teacher lectures about Alexander the
Great’s conquests or the fall of Rome or the daily life of the
Neanderthals.
A free hot meal is served to anyone in the community on a monthly basis at several Coon Rapids churches. The Coon Rapids Kiwanis Club saw the Family Table Meal program as
another opportunity for the club to give back to the community through
a service project.
